Subject: Birth of the Multinational
Dear Professor Moore:
I enjoyed reading your book "Birth of the multinational."
It is a very well documented, and a scholarly book. However, I was surprised
and disappointed that a scholar of your caliber had made a glaring mistake
about the Persian Gulf. On numerous occasions throughout the book you
had used the term "Arabian Gulf." There is no such thing as
the Arabian Gulf. The gulf south of Iran is called PERSIAN GULF. I hope
this was an oversight and not intentional misuse of the term. Only the
ill-informed and those who succumbed to petro-money ignore the vast
body of historical information about the Persian Gulf.

Thank you for your very kind comments and for clarifying the use of
Persian Gulf. We are in the midst of finishing a new book, we will correct
this mistake in the new book.
If you ever need a guest speaker please let me know I am out on the
road some with the ideas from the new book, Globalization .5: "Know
World" Globalization in the Time of the Roman Empire.
best, karl
