Winnipeg based – MSS leaves for Persian Gulf

90 members of 17 Wing’s Mission Support Squadron, based in Winnipeg, leave Saturday for Camp Mirage in the Persian Gulf Region.
It’s all part of Operation Archer, Canada’s contribution to the international campaign against terrorism.
The group will provide logistical support to Canadians deployed in Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf region.

The MSS has a number of personnel from various support occupations such as Airfield Engineers, Supply Techs, Cooks and Resource Management Clerks..
