While discussing the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico with a former Shell Oil exec, the news anchor, Brian Williams, talked about another oil spill, this one in the Persian Gulf, a number of years ago. However, rather than referring to the body of water correctly, he referred to it using the wrong name: "A@#&*!$ Gulf." And, the former oil executive felt compelled to also refer to it using the same name. Any idea how this can be corrected?
